Overview

20130501-IMG_5006-simonchristianreid.jpgAs a school over the past 28 years, God has watched over us and blessed us. We recognize that the students in our school today benefit from the efforts of those who have come before us. It is now our turn to continue this long standing tradition and achievement.

We realize that we cannot continue to raise tuition to a point where families cannot afford to send their children to our school. It is vital that we look at other means in which to help increase teachers' salaries, provide financial aid, and at the same time improve the infrastructure of the school. Even though moderate tuition increases are important, it still cannot cover everything we want to do as a school.

Sow a Seed - Help Grow a Future

11.jpgAn investment in the Grace Christian School’s Plant a Seed Fund is an investment in the next generation of learners and will enhance the school’s learning environments.  You will be helping to ensure that Christian education will be available on Prince Edward Island and affect generations to come.

This is an exciting opportunity for friends, graduates, staff, businesses, and local churches to join with us at a pivotal time - to not only celebrate past successes, but also to partner with us to build an exciting future.

We seek to provide opportunities for students to discover their God-given purpose in an environment that teaches Christ-centered values.

The Impact

Facility Improvements

13.jpg

GCS has been blessed with magnificent facilities, but as with our own homes, these facilities take a great deal of money and labor to maintain. In addition, we must keep pace with Grace's growing educational needs and demands. Your gifts enable GCS to make ongoing improvements to our campus.

Financial Aid

GCA-Grad-2011-50.jpgOur goal at GCS is to provide the opportunity for a Christian education to all who seek it, regardless of their financial resources. Realization of this goal will take a strong commitment on the part of our GCS Community. Gifts to the Annual Fund provide financial aid for the GCS students of today.

Instructional / Student Programs

20120308-_MG_6186simonchristianreid.jpgPlant-a-Seed Fund gifts are used to obtain research materials, computer software, and audio-visual aids, as well as to help build equipment intensive areas such as science, physical education, and art. Your gifts also help to underwrite mission trips, service projects, special programs, and speakers.

Staff Development

08.jpgPerhaps GCS's greatest asset is our faculty of professionals who are committed to providing a Christ-centered, quality education that is communicated in loving concern for each student. Your gifts to the Annual Fund enable GCS to provide continuing educational opportunities for our teachers through graduate courses, seminars, and conferences.

Technology Programs

Integrating current and ever-changing technology into the curriculum and into the overall operation of GCS remains a top priority and an ongoing challenge. Your gifts to the Plant-a-Seed Fund help prepare our students to impact the world as confident users of technology.
