Admissions

Grace Christian School admits students of any race or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, responsibilities, programs and activities providing such students meet the academic entrance requirements and agree to abide by the school policies and be taught in a manner consistent with a Biblical world view.

Due to limited resources, Grace Christian School is not equipped to handle students with special needs; however, special consideration may be given by the principal on an individual basis.

Enrollment Procedure

  1. Parents are to carefully read the Grace Christian School Handbook - available online or from the school office. It is advisable to review the handbook with the prospective student, depending upon the age of the student. Questions and concerns should be noted, to be presented upon meeting with the principal. Click for handbook
  2. Be interviewed by the principal [parent(s) and student(s)]. Bring recent report cards, achievement records from the previously attended school(s), and a written reference from previous teacher and/or principal.
  3. Return completed forms with registration fee (non–refundable unless student is not accepted).

Acceptance is contingent upon the results of the interview and an examination of records. Student(s) may be accepted at grade level, placed at a lower grade level, accepted on probation, or not accepted.

Age Requirements (School Act)

Junior Kindergarten:  Four years of age on or before December 31 of the current school year.
Kindergarten: Five years of age on or before December 31 of the current school year.

Records will not be released until all bills are paid and all textbooks and materials have been returned. A family that withdraws their children after September 30th will be charged an additional two months tuition payment.
